What chars did in this case in remaining 5 more episodes - tweaked their machines and discussed possible peacetime applications of combat robots?

More surprising in last episodes that Char Aznable-incarnate are on the protagonist side, while this archetype usually put into the antagonist camp.

It's possible that the cooperation breaks apart after the NAC is beaten and peace comes forward, though at that point it's very much possible for a entirely new organization to form which contains all the strong contenders to deter the other main forces from doing bad things to Japan.

That could happen if show would remain commercially successful to be extended into 4th season and beyond, because conflict against NAC to liberate Japan would be rather anti-climatic if resolved within remaining 5 episodes, and would be nice as another season.

Plus it somewhat far-fetched - even in show Japan doesn't seems important enough to fight for it at any cost, so in this episode AFT considered abandoning it, if they lost peninsula with a communication base. It would be strange if the situation stabilized and NAC contained, other players dedcided to invest more resources in infighting. And new organizations which have enough resources to deter 3 superpowers at the same time feels unrealistic, if writers would go that way more like a last straw to milk the franchise than provide the audience with quality product.

Well, except obvious explanation that this was part of Brad's plan to escape, it also fit declared work of the guards - to defend the "witnesses in protective custody".
In this case guard's work are to focus on keeping people from going in Alexey and Amou room, not keeping them in.

The error in this scene are not that guards looking in the same direction, but that they have uncovered backs - they should be stationed near the wall, to oversee the corridors intersection with no blind spots.

Well, they set comfortably next to a floor window on a building with multiple sniper locations outside of it.

Okay, that 'Bloody' nose that the NAC got has been something a long time coming. Even they are livid by their loss, as you can see at my comment at 19:54.

But I'm still trying to understand Brad Watt's actions by helping Amou and Alexei escaping. But their escape can be spun that they were behind the attempted assassination of Walker. Therefore, giving more of a pretext of the NCA to do a full scale invasion of the NJOC.

But yeah, Watt's actions of late have been questionable that even made Sofia Lewis say what she said at 10:37. So now, makes me ask the question that I saw mentioned in previous episodes.

Is Watt compromised by Ghost!?!!

While this is fictional, even I know the US has done some 'questionable' things in it's past that equal this new plot point in the story. And their is plenty of shenanigans of other countries that has done some Bullshidd as well.

i never really been into politics like that but the way they incorporated the political aspect of this anime has really made it all the more enjoyable to watch besides the mechs explosions etc. gashin mowing down those mechs was very satisfying to see. LOL

-> German ordered Sniper to kill Roy Walker
-> Brad bribed the Sniper to miss the shot purposely, or the advice of using bulletproof vest (most likely based on Ghost' advice too)
-> Jogan's new form is based on Gundam 00's Haptism brothers (Best Sniper with Best Shield, except it's not laser, but gatling gun instead)
-> Shion become mass killer next eps, I don't know, this one is just randomly popped into my head, lol
